Senior Medical Writer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Writer to join our team in South Africa. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical writing for regulatory documents and a strong understanding of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and interpret medical literature to select primary resource materials for clinical protocols and reports
  • Write and edit clinical development documents, including clinical protocols, investigator's brochures, and clinical study reports
  • Collaborate with project teams to maintain timelines and workflow of writing assignments
  • Develop and maintain expertise in regulatory writing and clinical medical writing
  • Contribute to the development of interpretive guides and publications

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong background in medical writing for regulatory documents
  • Substantial experience in clinical study protocol development and management
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
