• You will be tasked with ensuring that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are present on site and reporting any absences to the Logistics Manager in a timely manner.

• It is essential to ensure that all personnel, including yourself, are wearing clean and undamaged protective clothing as per company policy.

• The Logistics Manager will rely on your assistance in planning daily dispatch routes and loading activities.

• You will be responsible for sourcing completed invoices from the invoicing personnel.

• All routes must be documented on the designated trip sheet for the delivery route.

• It is crucial to ensure that all individual orders are marked off on the correct invoice copy during loading.

• You will need to ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants adhere to your instructions and perform their duties as per their job descriptions.

• Coordinate and control the loading of final orders.

• Before loading, ensure that products meet quality standards, including labels, lot or batch numbers, and packaging.

• Verify that all products are correctly weighed prior to loading.

• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the dispatch area.

• Implement and maintain measures to reduce wastage of and damage to stock being loaded.

• Ensure that temperature controls for the dispatch area and all products to be loaded are adhered to.

• Train new personnel in loading procedures.
