Requirements and Qualifications

  • Computer literacy is essential for success in this role.
  • Previous experience in technical project management is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the kitchen or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 and project management certifications or qualifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a valid driver's license are required for onsite visits.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee client interactions, installer activities, and order processes.
  • Supervise onsite workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project guidelines.
  • Coordinate with various trades involved in installation, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections, maintaining compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during installation, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including photos, installation reports, and client feedback.
  • Address unforeseen challenges with innovative solutions to ensure project continuity.
  • Enforce safety protocols onsite, ensuring all workers follow industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve discrepancies between the initial design and onsite requirements.
