About the Position
We are seeking an experienced business development executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, relationship building, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Built and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
International Expansion
- Research and identify new international markets for our services.
- Build and maintain relationships with international clients and partners to drive global expansion.
- Lead the charge in expanding our presence in global markets.
Customer Engagement
- Regularly meet with customers to understand their needs and secure RFQs.
- Work closely with internal teams to prepare and submit competitive proposals.
Digital Marketing
- Manage our social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with our brand and objectives.
- Engage with our audience and respond to inquiries to drive engagement.
Sales Support
- Collaborate with our sales team to close top tenders and achieve KPIs.
- Provide support in negotiations and contract finalization to secure business opportunities.
Market Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to inform our business development strategies.
- Work cross-functionally to align our initiatives with company goals.
Proposal Writing
- Craft compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our capabilities.
- Drive negotiations and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
Reporting and Analysis
- Regularly report on business development activities and analyze key performance indicators.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development in the engineering sector.
- Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of the South African business landscape and international markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a track record of exceeding targets.
