  • This is a full-time position for an experienced Motor Technician based in Johannesburg.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of motors used in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair ARC Brand and other motor types.
  • Develop expertise to achieve exceptional results.
  • Conduct battery testing.
  • Assemble roll-up motors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of servicing and repairs.
  • Process service/repair job cards.
  • Provide quotes for repairs.
  • Invoice clients for services rendered.
  • Clean up the motor service department and office.
  • Create requests for spare parts stock.
  • Offer technical advice to clients.
  • Assist with general electrical tasks across the facilities and offices.
  • Maintain detailed records of tasks performed.
  • Foster a safe work environment by following safety protocols and enforcing company policies.
  • Deliver high-quality work within deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with employees and clients.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team on all assignments.
  • Work independently while recognizing the importance of communication and coordination with colleagues.
  • Ensure a tidy work area daily.
  • Report any incidents or concerns during shifts to the Line Manager.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and adaptability in scheduling changes.
