- Ensure that the team adheres to the company's policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Resolve debtors' queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Achieve agreed collection targets to meet the company's financial goals.
- Continuously recommend improvements to support the growing areas of complexity with the collections department.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and submit them to management to track progress.
- Extensive knowledge of financial analysis and credit control systems.
- Team management experience to lead and motivate a team of credit controllers.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Relevant Finance or Accounting diploma.
- Matric (Grade 12) with a strong foundation in mathematics and finance.
