Packaging Design Visionary Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Visual Branding Manager to join our team at Clicks Group Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, innovative, and powerful packaging design solutions across our brands. You should have strong general management and coaching skills to lead the in-house Packaging Design and Finished Art teams to deliver their best.

About the Role:
  • To develop and implement comprehensive packaging design strategies aligned with our business objectives, driving innovation and sales growth.
  • To build and manage a sustainable internal design studio and hub, fostering top talent to deliver exceptional branding and packaging design solutions for our business and South African market.
  • To lead, manage, and mentor senior and junior creative designers, finished artists, illustrators, photographers, and freelance designers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • To collaborate with industry leaders to stay updated on international trends, foster inspiration, and enhance our knowledge of packaging design principles.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design & Art or equivalent qualification.
  • Packaging Diploma.
  • At least 10 years of experience in packaging and brand design, with outstanding knowledge of concept artwork, finished art, and print & packaging processes.
  • Minimum 7 years of management experience in leading teams, conducting performance reviews, and measurements.
