About the Role

The Associate Engineer is a senior technical resource and serves as the technical advisor for the team. This role involves planning works, providing technical reviews and quality management.

Responsibilities include sharing technical expertise and experience with others in the company via internal technical communication and presentations, developing high-quality design outputs and performing hands-on design.

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, timelines, and milestones.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and work quality.
  • Provide input on feasibility studies and contribute to the development of technical specifications sections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a line manager and mentor allocated technical staff.
  • Play an active role in the technical development of the allocated team.
  • Act in a supporting role to the Team Leader/Manager/Associate Director/Director by delegating work and directing less experienced staff to complete assigned projects' technical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University.
  • Master of Science/Engineering.
  • Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA.
  • 12+ years' experience after obtaining qualification.
