Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for banking applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and system testing to ensure software quality.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist business teams in validating functionalities.
  • Work within an Agile or Waterfall framework, ensuring timely delivery of testing milestones.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Experience testing banking applications, payment systems, or financial platforms.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, or other test management tools.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation is an added advantage.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, SOAP UI) is a plus.
