This role is part of our high school team, where you will drive student achievement by maintaining high expectations for classroom culture, behaviour, and academic growth for all scholars.

The ideal candidate will possess fluency in English, a B.Ed or PGCE degree in Sciences SP & FET Phase, 2-3 years of experience in a High School Context, SACE registration, and a clear/clean criminal record.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver face-to-face and distance lessons for academic and clubs subjects.
  2. Collaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
  3. Participate actively in professional development sessions.
  4. Develop and administer formative and termly assessments to track student progress.
  5. Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections.
  6. Plan and deliver programs to support low-performing scholars or extend high-performing scholars.
  7. Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
  8. Promote the vision and mission of Spark Schools to staff, scholars, families, and the community.
