Job Description

The Mining Manager will oversee the development and implementation of effective business and operational plans, ensuring safe, continuous achievement, and uninterrupted production. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading teams to optimize extraction, movement, and delivery of ROM coal to processing facilities.
  • Maintaining compliance with all legal requirements, including policies, procedures, standards, and safety standards.
  • Implementing and maintaining sound people management practices to ensure a productive workforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong educational background in Mining Engineering, relevant safety training, and experience at section head level and managing people. A Mine Manager Certificate of Competency Ticket and Advanced Management Programme or equivalent would be advantageous.
