Job Title: Executive Sous Chef
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Executive Placings. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Management: Develop and implement kitchen standards, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor junior chefs, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Menu Planning and Implementation: Work with the executive chef to plan and implement menus, ensuring that they meet the needs of our guests and are aligned with our culinary vision.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of kitchen inventory, including stock control and rotation, to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Guest Interaction: Provide exceptional service to our guests, responding to their needs and ensuring that they have a positive dining experience.
- Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team, communicating effectively to ensure that we are working together to achieve our goals.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2+ years of experience as a senior chef or executive sous chef in a 5-star lodge or similar establishment.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage a kitchen, train and develop staff, and implement menu planning and inventory management systems.
- Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications, such as a degree in culinary arts or a culinary certification.
