The Boikago Group is seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of medical equipment in hospitals and clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide rapid response technical support to healthcare facilities and offer expert guidance to hospital staff on equipment usage and troubleshooting.
  3. Installation & Setup: Assist in seamless hospital setup solutions, from planning to final inspection, and ensure proper installation, configuration, and testing of new medical equipment.
  4. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to industry regulations and company compliance standards, including SAHPRA and ISO certification requirements, and ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and quality control protocols.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Clinical Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or related field.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in medical equipment maintenance and support.
  3. Certifications: SAHPRA registration (preferred), ISO compliance experience, OEM training (advantageous).
