Hlabahlosile is a leading organization in the industry, and we are seeking an experienced Heavy Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual with extensive experience in heavy industrial fitting to work on maintaining and troubleshooting complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair centrifugals, vacuum pumps, positive displacement pumps, screw conveyors, dryers, gearboxes, fans, and bucket elevators.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Familiarize yourself with Rawhouse equipment.
  • Analyze problems and apply fault-finding skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Implement condition-based monitoring and modern alignment techniques.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A matric certificate plus N4 in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting, or equivalent qualification.
  • Completed an apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner.
  • A recognized Trade Test certificate in Mechanical Fitting / Fitter & Turner.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy industrial fitting.
  • A good knowledge of process operations and maintenance of various industrial equipment.
  • Basic rigging and welding skills, which will be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of R550,000 - R650,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you can expect:
