Senior Front End Developer Position


Emporium Human Capital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front End Developer to join our team.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with expertise in Angular/Typescript and Bootstrap, as well as knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.


Responsibilities will include implementing new front-end requirements, maintaining existing front-end applications, and ensuring adherence to the SARS look and feel and usability guidelines.


Requirements


Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer/Engineering Sciences and/or matric with at least 10 years relevant experience as a developer as part of a team in a software development environment.


At least 3 years relevant experience as a Senior Front-end developer in a software development team.


Keen interest to continue to be a Senior Front-End developer and provide technical leadership in a software development team.


A good understanding of the SDLC process, tools, technologies, frameworks, and techniques related to software development.


A strong knowledge of JavaScript, Angular/Typescript, REST framework, JSON, and XML.


Desirable Skills


Angular/Typescript, Bootstrap, Webpack, NPM, Yarn, Maven, JAXB, XML Schema, Integration experience (Web services and JMS), Business process/workflow layers e.g. JBPM, BPEL, etc.
