Job Title: Interior Design Assistant

A leading London-based Interior Design Studio is seeking a highly skilled and organized Design Assistant to provide support to the Design Director on a variety of design tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and complete schedule documents, including sanitaryware, brassware, ironmongery, lighting, and other specifications provided by the Design Director.
  • Update Project Programme based on site reports and updates from the design team.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and further product information.
  • Prepare procurement purchase orders and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage delivery timescales and order process of purchased goods.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of design experience and project management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible and open attitude to new ways of working.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to take initiative.
