Electro-Coating Line Specialist

About the Role:

This position involves ensuring that the quality standards and customer specifications in the Electro-coating line are adhered to.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimize line process parameters to improve units per input hour.
  • Ensure that all tanks and pumps are maintained to eliminate any production downtime.
  • Responsible for the make-up and additions of chemicals to the various tanks are correct according to the specifications.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Update all process instructions as needed.
  • Do SEM test on Phosphate tank, analyse the data and do corrective action.
  • Do temperature tests on the ovens, analyse the data, and keep records.
  • Fault find and correct any abnormalities that arise in the process and report any abnormalities to the process technician.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of MS Office, technical report writing, problem-solving skills, and environmental regulations. A National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or studying towards it, handling hazardous chemicals, and PPG certificate of training are essential qualifications.

Experience:

A minimum of 0-2 years' experience is required for this position.
