Senior Draftsperson

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret various drawings and convert them into Solidworks packages.
• Schedule assignments and communicate project details to the CAD department.
• Participate in production meetings and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Create complex drawings in Solidworks according to specifications and standards.
• Conduct quality checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Generate data packages and cutting files as required.
• Develop a thorough understanding of bending, laser, machining, and welding procedures.
• Utilize various measuring tools to ensure precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the quality department to resolve any issues or concerns.
• Identify and verify components based on drawings and specifications.
• Make adjustments to drawings as necessary to meet departmental requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Matriculation with Technical Drawings as a subject.
• Experience with Solidworks (Sheet Metal) and Autocad.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
• Knowledge of Measuring Equipment like Tape Measure/Vernier.
• Familiarity with Sigmanest.
