Junior PHP Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Junior PHP Developer to join our team at OfferZen, a leading developer jobs marketplace. As a Junior PHP Developer, you will play a key role in developing and supporting software applications, collaborating with frontend developers, and working with microservices architecture and RESTful API services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support software applications, including database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
  • Work with microservices architecture and RESTful API services
  • Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Data migration, transformation, and scripting

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in PHP development
  • Proficient coding in PHP, with an excellent knowledge of its frameworks like Laravel/Symfony
  • Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services
  • Experience working in an English-speaking environment

Desirable Skills:

  • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
  • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Basic understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
