Job Overview

The Head of Retail Finance will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with our company's overall objectives. You will lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and oversight to ensure effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. You will work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop plans to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and models to support business decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant (SA) designation preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-13 years' experience in accounting, financial management, or related field, with at least 3 years' experience at senior management/executive level.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills; proficiency in SAP and Excel.
