We are looking for an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our team at The Recruitment People in Johannesburg.

Job Description:

This role involves managing payroll administration, ensuring accurate employee records, and providing support to HR functions.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Process monthly payroll for ± employees, including new hires, leave, and terminations
  2. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and reconciliations of payroll records

Additional Tasks:

Payroll Reporting:

Generate payroll reports, process tax submissions, and maintain records per regulatory requirements

Benefits Management:

Administer Medical Aid, Provident Fund, and Group Life benefits for employees

Time Tracking:

Monitor and resolve discrepancies in employee time and attendance records

HR Support:

Assist with payslips, salary estimates, onboarding, and HR administrative tasks

Project Work:

Support HRIS payroll module and compliance initiatives

Qualifications:

Matric, 3 years' experience, Payroll qualification/course is beneficial, Experience with employee benefit reconciliations
