Estimator Opportunity

The Blue Oak Personnel team is looking for an experienced estimator to join our air freight department. As an estimator, you will be responsible for creating detailed estimates, supporting sales efforts, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Create accurate and comprehensive estimates for clients and internal stakeholders.
  2. Analyze estimate results to identify areas for improvement and optimize tender strike rates.
  3. Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders through excellent administrative support.
  4. Generate sales leads, distribute them to relevant teams, and ensure timely follow-up.
  5. Address inter-branch queries and provide proactive communication regarding rates and estimates.
  6. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within the area of responsibility.
Essential Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of the clearing and forwarding industry, including service offerings and commercial terms (Incoterms).
  • Relevant degree with at least 5 years of experience in international freight operations or equivalent.
