Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cancer Treatment Specialist to join our team at Icon Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and effective treatment to patients with a strong understanding of planning principles.
  • Treat patients and staff members with patience and empathy while maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Work collaboratively in a team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A National Diploma in Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-time clinical experience post-training.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Therapy Radiographer.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Reliable transportation for travel.

Working Conditions: This role involves rotating between regional units and working shifts. The successful candidate will also receive a monthly allowance.
