Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Store Assistant.

About the Role:

  • Assist with the receipt and dispatch of stock to meet sales demands
  • Provide excellent customer service and greet customers in the retail area
  • Process purchase orders and follow up on back orders
  • Inspect packages for damages or defects and report issues to the relevant personnel
  • Ensure accurate and efficient receipt and dispatch of stock
  • Manage inventory levels and investigate discrepancies
  • Deal with product returns and process refunds or exchanges
  • Book repairs for defective products and update customers on progress
  • Maintain an organized store environment by labeling products, bins, and shelves correctly
  • Loading and locating products and bin details accurately on the system
Key Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of 1-3 years' work-related skills, knowledge, or experience in a relevant position is preferred

Knowledge of the Electrical Industry and/or Retail Sales Environment will be advantageous

Senior certificate (NQF4) or equivalent qualification

South African citizenship or valid work permit for South Africa
