Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Crew Associate to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a Night Crew Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the store runs smoothly during evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Replenish products on the shelf, rotating stock and ensuring code dating procedures are followed to provide the freshest products for our guests.
• Ring up guests' orders by scanning products or punching prices into the register, finalize sales, and collect payment.
• Set up displays on the sales floor to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
• Assist with light stocking duties and inform management of any out-of-stock items.
• Unload deliveries and maintain back room efficiency.
• Follow proper procedures to ensure the store meets out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Put misplaced items back in their proper locations.
• Bag grocery orders and place them in guests' carts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.
• Contribute to an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and respect for team members, customers, vendors, and the community.

Requirements

• 0 to 6 months of experience required.
• No high school diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least 15 years of age.
