Join Sagen Advisory as a CIMA Trainee Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CIMA Trainee Accountant to join our team at Sagen Advisory. As a CIMA Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for producing client reports, performing accounting work, and handling administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality client reports and financial statements.
  • Perform various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, debtors, creditors, and bank reconciliations.
  • Handle VAT and PAYE reviews, invoicing, and debtors' collection.
  • Assist with IRP5 calculations, reconciliations, and submissions.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SARS accounts and perform PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions.
  • Register and deregister clients for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT, and Import and Export licenses.
  • Process tax clearance applications and UIF registrations.
  • Prepare and submit VAT201 returns and WCA registrations.
Requirements:
  • BAccounting, BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in accounting software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport.
