The Compliance and Certification Professional will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients' vehicles and automotive products comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the certification process for vehicles and automotive components.
  • Stay up-to-date with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing the automotive industry.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain compliance strategies to ensure products meet all necessary certifications.
  • Manage the end-to-end certification process for vehicles and automotive components.

Requirements

  • Minimum several years of experience in regulatory compliance, certification, or quality management within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of automotive regulations and standards, such as FMVSS, ECE, CCC, ISO, and SAE.
  • Familiarity with certification processes and requirements in major automotive markets in South Africa.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
