Senior CNC Machinist Trainer

As a Senior CNC Machinist Trainer & Application Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs for CNC milling and lathe operations. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing effective training materials, presentations, and hands-on exercises to facilitate learning. You will also conduct theoretical classroom training sessions covering CNC & CAD/CAM machining principles, programming, and safety procedures. Additionally, you will coordinate and conduct practical, hands-on training sessions on CNC milling and lathe machines, guiding trainees in machine setup, tooling, programming, and troubleshooting.

In this role, you will evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments and written examinations, providing constructive feedback to help individuals improve their skills. You will also maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and trainee progress, preparing and updating training manuals, reference guides, and documentation.

We require a qualified Tool Maker / Fitter and Turner with proven experience as a CNC machinist, showcasing expertise in both milling and lathe operations. Proficiency in programming CNC machines using CAM software and G-code is essential, along with knowledge of industry-standard software such as EDGECAM, MASTERCAM, SOLIDWORKS, FUSION 360, SOLID EDGE, ALPHACAM, and RADAN. Excellent communication and presentation skills are vital for success in this role.
