Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Risk Management Framework across our operations in South Africa. This role requires a strong understanding of regulatory environments and the ability to influence employees at all levels to effectively implement compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of the OHS Risk Management Framework
  • Ensure business operations are conducted in a compliant manner to avoid losses, fines, penalties, or reputational damage
  • Collaborate with the OHS Specialist to develop and implement effective compliance frameworks

Requirements:

  • National Diploma or degree in Safety Management, Risk Management, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety with a focus on risk management and compliance
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance frameworks

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
