Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation, warehouse handling, and execution of sales contracts for bulk commodities.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure strict adherence to contractual and trade terms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer Communication: Notify customers of contract allocations and maintain general communication for local commodity.
  • Silo Liaison: Liaise with silos for instruction numbers and plan load outs.
  • Cargo Upliftment: Ensure timely upliftment of cargo by clients and nominated transporters to minimize storage costs.
  • Invoice Management: Raise invoices for clients/transporters incurring storage costs on a daily basis.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in logistics/warehousing/Grain Industry ideally.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
  • Imports and Exports Knowledge: Exceptional knowledge of imports and exports.
