Santam, a leader in the general insurance industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor: Data Analytics to join our team in the Cape Town office. As a key member of our Group Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in conducting assurance and consulting reviews primarily using Data Analytics across the Santam Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting risk-based audit assignments with data analytics to aid in achieving the internal audit plan approved by Santam's Group Audit Committee.
- Assisting in audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Contributing to annual audit planning and reporting to various audit committees.
- Maintaining quality standards in internal audit practices and mentoring junior auditors.
- Engaging in client relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in a related field with over 5 years of experience in audit/consulting services.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as ACL, SQL, and audit software packages.
- Skills in designing and maintaining data dashboards and utilizing visualization tools.
