Branch Business Development Leader

This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the financial services industry. As a Retail Branch Manager in Pietermaritzburg, you will be responsible for driving business growth and client service. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience, including 3 years in a leadership capacity.

You will lead a team of consultants, execute the retail branch strategy, and manage operational activities. Your focus should be on delivering exceptional customer experiences within and outside the branch. In addition to industry experience, you must have proven sales records, service delivery expertise, and people management skills. Knowledge of insurance and lending products, as well as regulatory frameworks, is also required.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Drive Insurance and Lending business growth and client service
  • Manage operational activities in the branch unit
  • Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass
  • Lead a service delivery culture and ecosystem within and outside of the branch
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Passed the FAIS RE5
  • 120 Wealth Management credits OR tertiary qualification recognized by the FSCA
  • Class of Business compliant per product category (annual)
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) compliant minimum experience requirements satisfied per financial category
  • Meet fit and Proper Requirements
