About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Automotive Workshop Foreman to join our team at Bonafide Human Capital (Pty) Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle service and repair maintenance, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and motivate a team of qualified service technicians to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures, as well as adherence to dealership guidelines.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, assign tasks fairly, and provide technical support to staff when needed.
- Maintain high-quality service repairs, minimize comebacks, and conduct periodic spot checks for thoroughness and quality.
- Manage department performance using tools such as daily operating control, efficiency and productivity control, comeback reports, warranty reports, telephone surveys, and monthly forecasts.
- Qualified Technician with workshop foreman experience.
- Sound communication skills in English and the local language.
- Interpersonal competence, effective at working with people, building team spirit, reconciling conflict, listening, and supporting others.
- Professional and technical expertise in vehicle service and repair maintenance.
- Problem-solving and motor vehicle fault-finding skills.
- Planning and organizing, supervising, and leading a team.
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
