Job Summary
- This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to provide expert maintenance and repair services for industrial and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including chillers and chilled water plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular maintenance tasks, inspecting, maintaining and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration units (HVAC) including chilled water systems and chillers.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to call-outs and breakdowns, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough fault finding and troubleshooting on chillers, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and plant.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and sites visited, providing excellent communication and customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Trade Certificate – Refrigeration Mechanic (Industrial)
- Matric Certificate or equivalent technical N3 level
- Valid Safe Handling of Refrigerant Certificate
- Proven experience with Chillers and Chilled Water Plant Systems
- Minimum 3 years HVAC and Refrigeration Experience
- A valid Code 08 driver's license
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Computer literacy
