For a forward-thinking organisation, we invite applications for the position of Maintenance Manager.

This role is critical to ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (GMR2.1) and maintaining optimal production availability and efficiency.

The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in managing technical projects, driving continuous improvements, and leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include implementing and upholding a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan to maximise production uptime, managing technical and process projects to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and developing and controlling the maintenance budget.

The role also involves overseeing equipment upgrades and capital expenditure (capex) projects. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce energy and maintenance costs.

Key requirements for this position include proven experience in maintenance management within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment, strong people management skills, and expertise in budget management and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess a technical trade or national training certificate, with a National Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred. A GCC certification would be advantageous.

A competitive salary of approximately R550,000 per annum is offered for this exciting opportunity.
