Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified deficiencies;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution;
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of audit findings and actions taken;
  • Ensure the IQSMS Quality Module is up-to-date and effective in supporting our quality management system;
  • Communicate effectively with SACAA and 3rd Party Auditors to ensure smooth audits and inspections;
  • Assist with reviewing process owner manuals to ensure accuracy and completeness;
  • Disseminate quality-related information to Operational Training and Maintenance personnel on a regular basis;
  • Support the coordination of new route applications and attend relevant meetings as required;
  • Authorize and issue Company Authorizations for the Technical department as necessary;
  • Identify gaps in FlySafair departmental quality control processes and make recommendations for improvement;
  • Execute ad-hoc duties assigned by the Quality Manager to ensure efficient operation;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes and regulations to maintain expertise and effectiveness in the role;
  • Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on QA activities within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
