We are seeking a highly skilled Hydrologist Specialist to join our team at Professional Career Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrology and experience in conducting hydrological impact assessments, calculating water and salt balances, and compiling stormwater management plans.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hydrological impact assessments and calculate water and salt balances to inform environmental decisions.
- Develop and implement stormwater management plans to mitigate the effects of flooding and erosion.
- Analyze water and soil samples to measure contamination levels and predict environmental impacts.
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop techniques to improve water quantity and quality.
- Present findings to managers and policymakers through written reports and presentations.
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrology or a related field, with a Master's degree being a significant advantage.
- Registration with EAPASA or SPNA is highly desirable.
- Notable experience as a hydrologist, with working knowledge of GIS and GPS applications, and hands-on experience running hydrological models such as UPD.
