The Automated Test Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring software quality at SavageOne Pty Ltd by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.

Job Overview

The role involves creating initial test designs, writing scripts, installing automation protocols, and reporting test results to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop well-structured test plans and cases to cover application functionality.
  2. Design and execute automation test cases to validate software against defined requirements.
  3. Work closely with Software Developers to identify software bugs and recommend solutions.
  4. Document bug reports and track defects until resolution.
  5. Determine the cause of defects identified through testing and provide detailed analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in automated software testing, including design, development, and execution of test cases.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Solid understanding of risk-based testing techniques and quality management practices.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools and diagnostic methodologies.
