Main Responsibilities:

  1. Receive Goods: Inspect and verify incoming shipments against delivery documents, recording any discrepancies or damage.
  2. Inventory Management: Accurately record and update inventory levels, managing stock movements and monitoring stockroom conditions.
  3. Goods Movement: Efficiently move goods between stockrooms, warehouses, and loading docks, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  4. Loading and Dispatch: Prepare goods for loading and dispatch, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
  5. Communication and Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and carriers to resolve issues, manage expectations, and provide status updates.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and propose solutions to improve logistics efficiency, reducing costs and improving service quality.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric):
  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain/Warehousing Field: Beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
