Job Requirements
We are looking for an Analyst Developer who will be responsible for analysing, developing, and maintaining various in-house Web Applications developed in .NET. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in designing solutions and working with the specified technologies. They will also possess good communication and teamwork skills, as well as organisational savvy, manages complexity, plans and aligns, optimises work processes, cultivates innovation, customer focus, drives results, collaborates, and being resilient.
Key Responsibilities
The Analyst Developer will be responsible for analysis of change requests received, providing recommendations and cost estimates for implementing changes, designing prototypes for change requests, and maintaining existing programmes according to change requests. They will also be required to produce appropriate software programs that satisfy specifications, test own programs/artefacts, test interfaces to other systems, provide test information to Testers, implement changes into the Production environment, update data model documentation, provide technical support/assistance to others on own programs/systems, and provide standby/support (as and when applicable).
Education and Experience
The successful candidate will require a Grade 12 qualification and appropriate IT qualifications (Diploma/Degree) which will be strongly recommended. They should have at least 5 years' experience in software development, preferably in life assurance, with experience in designing solutions and working with the specified technologies.
