Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Operations Specialist to join our team at Liyema Consulting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to meet business needs, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline deployment and integration processes.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Automate system monitoring, maintenance, and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to build, test, and release software faster and more reliably.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • DevOps Practice Improvement: Continuously improve and refine DevOps practices, leveraging the latest tools and technologies.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement IaC practices to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Operations Specialist with a strong background in cloud operations, software engineering, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in DevOps, cloud operations, and software engineering.
  • Cloud Platform Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and related services.
  • CI/CD Tool Experience: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Configuration Management: Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Containerization Experience: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
