Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse All-Rounder to join our team at Isilumko Staffing. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products through our facility.

Key Responsibilities:Stock Control:
  • Receiving and Inspection: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Inventory Organization: Organize and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Stock Level Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels, performing routine inventory counts and reconciling with system data.
  • Discrepancy Identification: Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with stock, ensuring prompt resolution.
Dispatch:
  • Order Preparation: Prepare and package customer orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
  • Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, maintaining shipping records and tracking shipment status.
  • Return and Exchange Management: Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Skills:
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a small team of warehouse personnel, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance.
  • Training and Development: Train new team members and address any performance issues, ensuring a high level of competence and productivity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the warehouse manager to optimize workflow, ensuring seamless operations.
General Warehouse Duties:
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other equipment (if certified), supporting receiving, picking, and packing operations as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment, including stock control and dispatch.
  • Skills: Knowledge of inventory management software and computer proficiency, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required; forklift certification (if applicable).
  • Leadership: Leadership and supervisory experience is a plus, commitment to safety and compliance with warehouse policies.
