Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team at Profile Personnel. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services for our clients, ensuring that we meet our quality and cost targets.
Responsibilities:
* Procure goods and services from suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure the best value for our clients
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time
* Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring that we have a strong and reliable supply chain
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that our purchasing processes are efficient and effective
Requirements:
* Matric and finance qualification essential
* 3+ years of retail, wholesale and consumable buying experience advantageous
* Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer preferences
* Excellent negotiation skills to secure favourable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers
* Stock management experience
* Understanding of budgeting and financial management to ensure cost-effective purchasing
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and senior management
* Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer trends
* Microsoft Office proficiency
* Valid drivers license
