**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing accurate and timely financial data to support business decisions.
  • Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare budgets, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and track payments for group expenses, including supplier invoices, utilities, and other overheads, as well as monitor incoming payments from retail locations and online channels.
  • Group VAT: Support the preparation of VAT filings for the entire group, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions across different retail divisions, ensuring accurate processing and documentation.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial data and compliance with internal controls.
  • Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing documents and records for external audits, ensuring all necessary financial data is available and compliant with industry standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial role, with bookkeeping / processing experience
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero); Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Desirable Experience: Tax & Compliance Knowledge (familiarity with VAT); Experience with Multi-Location Finance
