Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Kontak Recruitment. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing financial guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to management and clients.
  • Manage and maintain financial databases and systems.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in our company ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain financial control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors on financial audits.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Requirements:
  • B Com with completed Articles.
  • 5–10 years related experience.
  • Computer literacy in Sage Accounting Software, MS Word, Excel, E-mail.
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of economic principles.
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience of related computer applications.
  • Knowledge and experience of the banking system.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing cash flow.
