Job Title: HGV Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV driver to join our team at Assign Services (Pty) Ltd - JHB.

As an HGV driver, you will be responsible for transporting finished goods and raw materials in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation of Goods: You will transport finished goods and raw materials between various locations, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Regular inspections of the vehicle will be performed to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Route Planning: You will plan routes to meet delivery schedules, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Accurate documentation of work/rest periods, kilometers driven, and any issues encountered will be maintained.
  • Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading goods will be performed with care, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Maintenance: Refueling and cleaning the vehicle will be done regularly to maintain its condition.
  • Reporting Incidents: Any road incidents will be reported promptly, following established procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV License: A valid HGV license is required for this position.
  • Experience: Previous experience as an HGV driver is essential.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is R120,000 per annum.
