About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at CV-Library. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission of matching job seekers and businesses on a global platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that provide valuable insights into business domains.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform analysis to address specific strategic business questions and challenges, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Performance Indicators (PIs) to identify areas of improvement and optimize business processes.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and techniques in analytics, ensuring our business remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in data visualization using AWS QuickSight or similar Business Intelligence tools.
  • Skills: Experience in data storytelling, persona-led information provision, and data mining and cleaning approaches using Python and R libraries such as pandas, dplyr, and tidyr.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with the AWS ecosystem, including Redshift, QuickSight, S3, and Sagemaker, as well as SQL (or T-SQL) for querying relational databases.
  • Soft Skills: Strong numeracy and statistical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a matrix environment with flexibility to perform a range of analytical activities.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Linux, and Shell Scripting: Familiarity with GitHub, Linux, and Shell scripting (bash) is desirable.
  • Text Mining and NLP: Some basic understanding of text mining and NLP pre-processing steps with relevant libraries in Python or R, such as Beautiful Soup and NLTK.
  • Scrum Team Experience: Experience working as part of a Scrum team is desirable.
  • Recruitment Industry Experience: Experience in the recruitment industry is desirable.
