Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Security Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our ATMs and cash handling operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Risk Mitigation: Ensure that the volume of ATM and CIT attacks and cash loss is kept to an absolute minimum.
  • ATM Security Strategy: Build an ATM physical security strategy to minimize cash threats and collaborate with external parties to ensure perpetrators are caught.
  • Security Tools: Implement security tools at the ATM and across the network to protect against physical, logical, and cyber threats.
  • Threat Assessment: Assess and analyze the latest industry threats to ensure safety for employees and equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders for effective security and emergency response plans.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate and report all incidents resulting in damage or loss of company property.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee day-to-day security operations, including emergency response planning.
  • Budget Management: Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
  • Risk Register: Deliver a comprehensive risk register and business continuity plan.
  • Security Procedures: Create and implement 'best in class' security procedures and processes.
  • Policy Enforcement: Conduct investigations into policy violations and advise management on disciplinary actions.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety and operational regulatory requirements.
  • Employee Education: Educate employees on security awareness and policies through training programs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Academic Grade 12.
  • Relevant Degree: Relevant tertiary degree/diploma in Security Management or equivalent.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar position.
  • Driving License: A current and full driving license (No endorsement) *Code 8/10.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in ATM/Banking/Cash Handling.
  • Security Expertise: Proficiency in security assessments, audits, and investigations.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
