Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the regulatory management of South Africa and some Southern Africa markets like Botswana and Namibia for an allocated part of our generic portfolio of products.

You will provide oversight for assigned countries, developing and executing regulatory strategies, processes, and plans in support of new registrations and post-approval submissions. Additionally, you will ensure that regulatory input is communicated to regional and local Commercial, Supply Chain, and Quality teams for promoted and development products.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the regulatory management of South Africa and some Southern Africa markets like Botswana and Namibia for an allocated part of our generic portfolio of products.
  • Provide oversight for assigned countries for the portfolio and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory input is communicated to regional and local Commercial, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
  • Apply knowledge and best interpretation of regulatory requirements in the assigned countries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, registered with the South African Pharmacy Council.
  • MSc, MBA, or PhD may be an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably in human medicines.
  • Experience in registration of products and regulatory knowledge on South Africa, Botswana, and Namibia market guidelines.
  • Demonstrate regulatory experience with a pharmaceutical company.
