Electrical Instrumentation Technician

The Legends Agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join their team in Isando, Johannesburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and automation systems for greenhouse projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and automation systems for greenhouse projects.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Commission, calibrate, and test new systems to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all work performed, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Certificate, diploma, or degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum NQF Level 3).
  • Three-phase Wireman's license.
  • Experience with control systems PLCs, VFDs, etc.
  • More than 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Willingness to travel within South Africa and Africa.
